What to Do? What to Do?

Join the Karaoke event of the year hosted by FM96.3 J-Pop station and show off the talents that you and friends all love and want to show off and share with fellow Japanese and Singaporeans fans of the station!!! Yeaaaahhhh!

Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming event which is open to all the Japanese community and the J-Pop & Rock lovin people dats YOU!!!!

FM96.3 Year-End Red vs.White Karaoke Competition!
All you’ve got to do is to sing a song in Japanese. The competition will be held at United Square at 4:00 pm, Saturday, 21 December.Grand prize is a round trip ticket to Japan with NW!And more more attractive prizes!!

Pre-competition is scheduled on 14th(Sat) & 15th(Sun) December from 11am to 6pm at Hit Studio Karaoke Box located at Delphi Orchard!

Contestants will be judged on criterias including;
1.Voice Quality (How well you sing…)
2.Stage Presence (Composure, Confidence Posture)
3.Presentation (Outlook, Costume, General Looks)
4.Overall Star Quality

Important Hints!!!
You are encouraged to be sporting and initiative with a great sense of creativity and a spirit for performing in front of an audience. The more daring and creative the more FUN FUN FUN!!!! Yeeaaaah!!!!

*You may record your performance in a cassette, md or videotape if you’d like to send in before the pre competition dates. (Who knows? We may even send it over to the Morning Musume audition in Japan u Know!!!)

You can also arrange for your own Backup Dancers if you’d like!

*You are encouraged to make up, cosplay and pose like your favourite artists when you perform ne!!!

*Please treat the pre competition seriously as you’ll be selected based on the same criterias for the finals on the 21st Dec. If you’d like to participate in this funfilled event, send us the basic info about yourself now for immediate registration with the following;

Hi everyone,

As u guys are having vacation now, we have planned an outing. Firstly, there will be an KTV outing at Diamond Dust on 11 Dec 2002 Wednesday. It would start at 3pm. What will happened on that day are mainly singing japanese songs lah…

People interested pls meet at 11 Dec 2002 at sommerset MRT control station at 2.45pm…so be punctual k! And a reminder here, pls bring along romanji lyrics along as u guys will be singing in Japanese k? And also not 4getin 2 brin ur money kk? Thanx 4 e attention!

Secondly, an event to take place next year 2003 around Jan/Feb time. There will be a visit to Japanese Association to learn more about Japanese Tea ceremony. We need to have at least 10-12 people to sign up for it, if not this event could not be hold.

I’m sure tat there’ll be ppl working part-time. But ppl try to attend these events as it could at least let u gain some cca points in return!!!

Here’s tomorrow’s event information. If you have time, why don’t you go and have fun?

In conjunction with Teens Magazine’s Teen Model Search 2002 contest, the event “I wanna Be a J-Pop star!” will be held tomorrow at Takashimaya Event Hall Basement 2, Ngee Ann City. You can see final contestants at the event. There will be a fun game in the programme as well.

As co-sponsors, The City of Osaka and Osaka Prefectural Government support this event. You can enjoy Osaka quiz game with tececast on the big screen on vivid Osaka.
