2nd Membership Intake

Hi everyone,

here is the latest announcement.
JCG is holding a 2nd round of Members Intake

ATTENTION: One and All, JCG is holding round 2 of its membership intake, details are as follows:

Date: 29 March 2003 (Sat)

Time: Anytime between 10am to 4pm
We realised some of you may have to attend the NE forum

Venue: ITAS LT 16 (level 1 & 2)
(If you lose your way, please call Ben @ 93676555)

Things to bring: Your Matric Card.

Amount to pay: Compulsory $15/- ($5 membership fees &
$10 T-shirt)

If you have already paid any of the above mentioned amount, you are to declare them (with proof if
possible) & we will cross check your claim with our list.
please understand that we are a self-funded club.

To all members: if you have any friends that had earlier wished to sign up with us, or had earlier submitted their names, but have not gone through the formal process, please help us by reminding them about this.

To all those who wish to sign up for full membership, please follow the instructions indicated slowly.

We will most likely abolish this method after this round and use a new and improved plan.

Japanese Speech Contest 2003

Anyway here are the latest announcements:

1)
The JCG main and sub committee will be holding an outing to visit NUS Japanese Studies Society’s Japanese Cultural Festival!

As you all already know, their event will last from 11th-13th March(this coming Tuesday till Thursday)
Time: 1000 - 1800(everyday)

For those who are still clueless, please refer to the following text:

NUS Japanese Studies Society is proud to present to you our annual Japanese Cultural Festival. We aim to bring Japanese culture closer to you on campus in the form of a Japanese style bazaar, where you can find the cheapest, coolest Japanese merchandise and music in town! Watch out for the fun games and special performances by Japanese students and our Buyo, Sado and Karaoke Subclubs, hosted every day from 12-2pm and 4-6pm, by FM 88.3 DJs. Try your hand at our Fun Yukata wearing sessions, and also look out for our co-play guests, J-pop, J-movies and J-anime interactive exhibits waiting for you! Come on down and be part of this spectacular extravaganza!!!

Date: 11 - 13 March 2003
Time: 1000 - 1800
Venue: Science Foyer

So basically we will be meeting up at:

Time: 1pm SHARP (be punctual!)

After meeting there, we will make our way to NUS.

Appologies to those who had earlier wish to sign up for membership with us.
Due to our main comm.’s busy schedule for the holidays(work, projects etc.), the registration date has been pushed slightly further, when school reopens. That way it’ll be easier for you guys to come. We will try our best to prevent any further delays as we also wish to settle this matter quickly.

So wait for further announcements with regards to this matter, till then do take part actively in the forum
or the Mailing List. We appologize once again the any inconvenients.

Hello everyone,

Best wishes for the upcoming term tests.

Attention everyone, to those who had earlier wished to join as members(throught one of our events or through the channel) you’ll be happy to know that we’re in the midst of planning the new membership intake for these people.

Please note that this is meant for those who wish to sign up, through us(not SEAL only), and have not done so officially yet(filling up the form).

We will be making an announcement in the coming week with regards to the details, so keep your eyes peeled.

During the registration process, your names will be cross check with our list to check if you have paid any money or not.
