Hi every1, doing a little advertisement here for Hippo.

Hi everyone,

Hippo Exchange Club, Singapore is organising our outbound Homestay Programme again! This year we are going to Kansai region in Japan.

The Homestay programme will be held from 14 December to 27 December 2003.

For more information of HEC Homestay Programme, do attend our briefing on 24 August 2003, Sunday 1000hrs @ Joo Chiat CC Theatrette, Level 3, 405 Joo Chiat Road.

All are welcomed to participate! Looking forward to see you all and many other friends in the briefing!

There will be an anime screening coming up right after term test

Title: Ex-Driver the movie

Date: 30th August 2003

Venue: LT8

Time: 11.30am - 3pm

So after the tests are over, let’s all have a short break. Come to our screening.

If you will like us to screen an anime that you will like to see, please email us and by popular demand, we’ll screen it.

Hi guys!!!

Like to ask u all to so call “vote” or suggest me the wanted date to hold this event!
This event are to be taken place on Saturday!
The time i suggested was 27/9/03 or 4/10/03 (both r sat).

I hope tat more ppl would join in this time round…and most important thing is its FREE….you dun hav to pay for anything (except tat we need to travel down to NUS lah…) I’ll make sure tat tis is a worthwhile trip….to be detail, we are makin our trip to NUS - SADO club (specialise in Jap Tea Ceremony)

U could learn more abt Jap Tea Ceremony….except tat it would be the students performing and teaching us (but they r experience k)!

Venue: National University of Singapore (NUS)
Date: Either 27/9/03 or 4/10/03 (if there’s any suggestion, pls post up)

Minor update for AGM

Alright, I’ll make this quick.

Some of you have pointed out to me that you guys have signed up during the last “mini intake” for members, and that it is unfair for you guys to renew ur membership so soon.

Alright fair enough, sorry my mistake for forgetting about that.
Anyway, I still have the list, of those who joined the last time round. So if you are one of those people on that date, kindly indicate to the person at the registration counter, and you are encouraged to bring along ur club shirt.

Furthermore, it is to compensate for the looonnggg delay it took to organize the mini intake.
So to sum it up, if you are one of those who signed up during the mini intake, kindly indicate it to us and we shall cross-check with the list.
All current members are also adviced to bring the club shirt (alright, you don’t really have to wear it if you don’t want to)
That leaves the new and would-be members that are required to pay the full price for initial membership.

So cheers, hope to see y’all there.

Term test week i suppose, hectic no?

Anyway, here’s a little update and announcement:

1) “The Animatrix” Screening
Venue: ITAS LT8
Date: 16th Aug 2003
Time: from 1130
Admission: FOC

Opened to all JCG members and TP students.

2) Annual General Meeting 2k3!

Yes, its that time of the year again.
The time to meet the main+sub-comms, the time to renew membership, the time for interested members to sign up for membership!

Venue: Design School LT24 (Next to Jupiter Cafe, u can’t miss it)
Date: 20th Aug. 2003 (Wed)
Time: Registration commences at 6.00pm.
Fees: $15 for 1st time members.($10 for the JCG T-shirt, $5 for the
membership fees)

$5 for current JCG members (to renew annual membership fees)
(Current members are encouraged to bring your JCG shirt)

As before, members are entitled to various privelleges.
Everyone is expected to have their dinner before the AGM, as there will be no food provided.

What you can expect at the AGM:

-An introductory to the various sub-comms. in JCG.
-Signing up procedures
-Find out how YOU can earn CCA points~!
-Games, prizes (including Summer Festival tickets for new members!)
-Updates on various events
and more~

So spread the word, drag ur friends and come on down to join the fun!
