Hope those who went for the Natsu Matsuri had enjoyed themselves. Our next outside japanese event is the Waseda High School Trip on the 19th Sept from 9am to 4pm. Activities there are organized by the students there such as hair-styling, nail-painting, lots of games to play, tea-ceremonies and opportunities in taking your picture dressed in a japanese high school uniform.
This event is FREE so we encourage you to take this opportunity to come and enjoy this event. However, you probably have to pay for your own lunch there. There would be a campus tour in the morning and we would have to meet early at Clementi MRT Station around 9am.

Just a reminder to all of you going to Natsu Matsuri,
Those who are borrowing yukata, please remember to meet Rosemarie at Bedok MRT Station at 2pm. Please do not be late as we need to queue to borrow the yukata and there are only a limited amount available. It will only cost you one or two of your coupons. So don’t worry, you have enough coupons to eat/play later.
Otherwise for the rest, please either go on your own or meet Ben at Bedok MRT Station at 4:15pm.
If you are going to purchase tickets on the spot, please come early because many others would be queueing for theirs.
P/s: For JCG Members, please bring your membership card when you come to collect your advance tickets.
It has being confrim that for this saturday’s tea ceremony we are meetin at 10.15am sharp @ Clementi MRT station control. Pls do not be late as we will be leaving at 10.30am sharp. We will need to take a bus to reach the NUS campus and walk to the venue, and do remember to wear/ bring white socks along and the $4 would be collected on the spot when we are gathering at the MRT station. Been getting quite a number or enquiries on whether this event will clash with Natsu Matsuri. No, this event will take place in the early afternoon. Natsu Matsuri will be in the evening/night. So both events will NOT clash.
After much discussions among the the Arts & Entertainment subcomm members, we decided to extend the dateline of the confirmation date, from the 15th to 17th of aug pls take note, therefore those who have not send the details to us, pls do it asap.
It will be better that you do it before the 17th, as we need to confrim with the NUS sado club the number of particpates who are going from our group. Hope that those who are interested would take part in this event, as its not very common do experience this, moreover u can earn SEAL points so what are you waiting for? Hurry up and sign up with us now.
