Visit to NUS SADO Club - Tea Ceremony

Once again, our subcomm has arranged for a visit to NUS’s SADO club to experience what the Japanese tea ceremony is all about. There will be a demo where you will learn how the tea is prepared. You will also learn the greetings exchanged during a tea ceremony. And best of all, you will get to taste the tea and okashi (sweet).

This is a good experience so don’t let it slip by. More like once in a lifetime kinda thing? Yep…good to learn about culture and stuff.

The details…

Date: 21 August 2004
Time: 11am
Charge: $4 per person
To note: Please wear white socks on that day. It is required.

If you’re interested, please email your details (name, matric number, school, year and contact number) by 15 August 2004 to ae_jcg@yahoo.com.sg

More details (time and place to meet) will be confirmed later.
