Autumn Tea Ceremony

Hi all:

It’s a new season - yes, Autumn and it is usual in Japan that in conjuctionwith change of the season, a tea ceremony is organised. The tea instruments and decoration of the tea room will also change to fit the theme - Autumn.

There’re will be a tea ceremony held soon on the 21st November. Time will be confirmed again. Venue will be at Liang Court. Cost will be S$10/-

Please send the email in by 10th of November Singapore Standard Time 1200 midnight.

ITS CHALET TIME!

Hi everyone, we’ve finalized a location and we’re posting again just in case any of you are still interested.

We’re gonna have a chalet to break away and have fun for 2 days, 2 nights of intense gaming, watchin movie/anime etc, not to mention food.
Here are the details:

Date: 27th to 28th October (We leave on the morning of 29th)
Venue: Aloha Loyang Garden Terrace Chalet
Cost:
Option A - Just to hang out and have BBQ = $10 OR
Option B - Hang out, BBQ and sleep over(both nights) = $20

*If we got any excess cash, we will just refund u wat’s left.*
Take note none of this is coming out from the fund as we’ve decided they can be used for other better things for the club and its members.

Those who are interested in attending, please have the decency to email to jcg_stuff@hotmail , ur name/contact before 26th October at 11am sharp, so we can prepare the right amount of food for people. Don’t be shy and do come to mingle around with the other members and/or the committee members.

Sorry for the mistake…the deadline is hopefully by this Sunday so that plans can be made asap. For the pricing, it has been slightly changed. This is the summary:

Just coming down to hang out = $10
Eating BBQ and hanging out = $15
Eating BBQ, hang out and sleep over = $20

*P/s: If we have any excess money, we will refund you with the remainder.*

Hello all,

Exams are already starting now and JCG wishes everyone good luck to your exams. Hope all pass and don’t need to retake any of your exams. So work hard and gambatte! On the other hand, JCG will be organizing an array of activities just for you. Lots to look forward this holidays and this is just the tip of the iceberg:

JAS Open House (Sat, 30th Oct)

Time: 10am to 3 or 4pm
Venue: Japanese Association Singapore (JAS)

The Japanese Association Singapore is a club for japanese people in Singapore. They have organized a number of activities, most well known is the annual Natsu Matsuri. This year, they have opened their gates again for the public. For those who are interested to see more about their community, here’s a chance to check it out.

P/s: Reminder to those who have volunteered their service, pls remember to report on this day.

JCG Chalet ‘04 (Mon to Wed, 1st to 3rd Nov)

Time: To be confirmed
Venue: Aranda Country Club
Costs: $15 for chalet stay, $20 for chalet stay + BBQ dinner

It’s the Holidays so where do we go…CHALET! It’s down to the East at Aranda where we gonna have intense video game competitions, watchin anime/movies, havin fun with friends and more.

P/s: This will not be funded by JCG as we decided to use the funds for other purposes and the lack of response.

Kodomo no Omacha Marathon, Season 1 (Mon to Wed, 8th to 10th Nov)

Time: 9:30 am (register) to 5pm
Venue: ITAS LT 8
Costs: Free (JCG Members) & $1 per day (Non-JCG Members)

It’s gonna be the ultimate anime marathon, featuring Kodomo no Omacha from Episodes 1 to 51. Bring your marathon buddies, lots of snacks to watch this ultra insane anime.

Kodomo no Omacha Marathon, Season 2 (Wed to Fri, 17th to 19th Nov)

Time: 9:30 am (register) to 5pm
Venue: ITAS LT 8
Costs: Free (JCG Members) & $1 per day (Non-JCG Members)

The continuation of Kodomo no Omacha marathon after a short rest, from Episodes 52 to 102. May the force be with you all.
