Video Conference Project

Hi everyone, sorry for this rushed announcement

We’re looking for JCG Members to help create 2 presentations on Racial Harmony for a video conference to present to Japanese Students at the end of this semester.

We need 2 groups of 4 to 5 members each to work on these two titles:

Co-existence of diverse religions in Singapore
Languages spoken in Singapore

You are to try and make this as entertaining as possible, like incorporating digital video, visual and sound clips into the presentation. All you just have to do is research on the topic, take photos, interview people, video shoot some famous sites and edit all of it into the presentation using software like MS Producer.

You would be given about one semester to complete the project.

Of course, CCA points will be given at the end of successful completion of the project. This would be a very beneficial and challenging experience for you.

The presentations are scheduled below:

Dec 2004 - Do research and site visit

Jan 2005 - Prepare short presentation

Feb 2005 - Upload the presentation onto TP Streaming Server. Watch all the students’ presentations.

Mar 2005 - Feedback. Conduct Video Conference at end of March.
