NARUTO the Movie 2 screening cum requests

Hi all,

We’re having a screening on the 10th of June! We’ll be showing Naruto the movie 2, 大激突!幻の地底遺跡だってばよ, (Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no Chiteiiseki dattebayo), or “Great Clash! The Illusionary Ruins at the Depths of the Earth” in English. We know a lot of people like Naruto, and decided to start off with something that most people should be interested in.

This movie takes place during the filler arcs between part one and part two, after the Sasuke Retrival Arc.

About the movie:

While on a mission to return a lost pet to another village, Uzumaki Naruto, Nara Shikamaru and Haruno Sakura are attacked by a strange boy and a squad of temu. Naruto and the boy end up falling off a cliff, and the trio is separated in the fight. Shikamaru then discovers a large mobile fortress, and in order to investigate the situation and rescue his teammates, he sneaks into the fortress alone. There he sees something terrible…

After showing that, we’ll be screening anime episodes that we get requests for. Stay for this! You’ll get to sample more anime series this way. If you have something that you want to watch, please reply to this thread with the series name and episode number. Or if you’ve watched something really good recently and want to share it, tell us! To do that, please go to this thread on the forums. (You would need to register at the forums. If you are a registered JCG member, please do so.)

Date: 10th June 2006 (Saturday)
Time: 1pm
Venue: LT 15 (Information Technology / Applied Science)
Admission: Exclusively for members (Please bring along your JCG membership card.)
