Hi all,
There will be a Japanese Traditions concert held at the Victoria Concert Hall, featuring Taisho-koto in the Kinden-ryu style. Taisho Koto is an evolution of the traditional koto (a thirteen-stringed musical instrument.) It was invented in the first year of Taisho (1911), hence its name.
Some of the songs that will be performed at the concert include:
- Soran Bushi （ソーラン節）
- Fusetsu Nagare Tabi （風雪流れ旅）
- Tsugaru Kaikyo Fuyugeshiki （津軽海峡冬景色）
- Tango at Night （夜のタンゴ）
- Sakura Bukyoku （桜吹雪）
- Nada So So （涙そうそう）
