Hi all,
Here’s our weekly meet-up, chill-out, and draw sessions once again! Anyone who is interested in drawing in the style of Japanese animation is welcome. This is a relaxed get-together for artists of any level, giving anyone an opportunity to come together, draw, share tips, make friends, chill out and have fun.
Day: Mondays (6th, 13th August 2007)
Time: 6pm to 7pm
Venue: 5-6-13 (Applied Science)
Due to the coming examinations, we’ll be suspending our weekly drawing sessions for a brief period after 13 August. They’ll be back when the examinations are over though!
Two of our sub-committees are having a joint event! Wagashi Day is our very own way of introducing the tradition of eating confectionary sweets (wagashi) while drinking tea!
Not only will you be able to enjoy tea with sweets, our Cuisine sub-committee will teach you how to make the sweets and explore your creativity! Then, enjoy a short cultural sharing by our Arts & Entertainment sub-committee about the history and culture of tea ceremonies, and how wagashi came about, while you sip your tea!
