Dear Members,
I am sure many of you know of Chawanmushi, it is basically an egg custard dish served in a tea cup and it is one of the most popular comfort foods in Japan. Come down for the session and our Cuisine sub-committee will teach you how to make the wonderful custard dish and you can enjoy your delicious creation!
Additionally, engage yourselves in the exciting Onigiri Contest and explore your creativity! Rice and seaweed will be provided of course, but bring in some ingredients or garnishes to create the ultimate Onigiri! You can shape your rice ball any way you like it and decorate it with the necessary ingredients/garnishes. Whether you want to make it beautiful or tasty, it is all up to you, but the one who creates the most appealing Onigiri will receive a prize!
Attend the event and you not only get to learn how to make Chawanmushi but also enjoy it together with your creative Onigiri plus a complementary bowl of Miso soup for a sumptuous meal! Yup, Please bring your bento box as well for presentation !!!!!
