Papercrafting Sessions (July)

Hi all!

Here’s more papercrafting sessions for you guys! Anyone who is interested learning the art of folding and cutting paper into intricate objects, also called origami and kirigami, is welcome. This is a relaxed get-together for paper artisans of any level, giving everyone an excuse to come together, make interesting paper objects, share tips, make friends, chill out and have fun.

Day: Fridays (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th July 2008)
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Venue: 5-5-15 (Applied Science)

All participants should bring their own ruler. Papers will be provided.

Cosfest VII Outing

Once again, Cosfest is coming! This is an annual cosplay event, where people can dress up in their favourite costumes and mingle with other fellow hobbyists.

At the event, there will be cosplay competitions, anime karaoke performance and contest, and numerous booths selling a range of anime, manga and other Japanese-related merchandise.

Date: Saturday, 5 July 2008 and Sunday, 6 July 2008
Time: 12pm to 7pm
Venue: Downtown East D’Marquee Tent (near the main lobby)
Admission: Free

Please note that you’ll have to meet up with us and present your membership card for SEAL points to be awarded.
