Korokke Making Session

Mashed potato? Breadcrumbs!

Greetings, everyone!

For the month of June, we take you on a little tour around French cuisine and back to Japan! That’s right, we proudly present to you the popular Japanese croquette, korokke!

Consisting of mashed potato with variable fillings and coated with breadcrumbs, this deep-fried delight is vastly available in supermarkets, convenience stores and especially korokke shops. Korokke commonly comes in the form of patties, and are served with a variety of sauces, mayonnaise, or shredded veggie. Korokke may be eaten by itself as a snack, a topping accompanying other dishes, or even made into a sandwich (“korokke pan”)!

Sound fascinating?
