Anime movie screening: Eva 1.0

Hi everyone!

Have you ever dreamt of fighthing evil aliens to protect human-kind? If you do then don’t miss this screening!

For the month of December, we are screening Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone.

In the year 2000, a mysterious “meteorite strike” on Antartica wipes out half the human population. In 2015, the survivors of this so-called “Second Impact” cower in subterranean cities, while a war is being waged for what remains of planet Earth. On one side are the strange and powerful beings called Angels; and the other, the secret agency of NERV, with mankind’s last hope: the giant cybernetic robots called Evangelions. But only children born after the Second Impact can pilot them. The estranged commander of NERV, Gendo Ikari, summons his son Shinji(whom he had abandoned years ago) to be the pilot of Evangelion Unit 01. Shinji is taken to live with the sisterly Misato, but he suffers many hectic incidents while piloting the Eva and fighting Angels. Also, he still detests his father for abandoning him, and he’s often reluctant to fulfill his role as an Eva pilot.
