Tea Ceremony “Peace in Tea”

Hey everyone!

There will be a tea ceremony lecture held by Japanese Chado Urasenke Grand Master XV, organised by the Embassy of Japan in Singapore and co-organised by SP Japanese Cultural Club. Ocha tea and wagashi sweets will be provided during the event. Admission is free, but you need to register for the event in order to get the tickets to enter.

Date: Wednesday, 30 June 2010
Time: 3.30pm to 5pm (Lecture)
2pm to 3pm / 5pm to 5:30pm (Tea Serving)
Venue: DBS Auditorium, 6th Shenton Way DBS Building Tower One (Tanjong Pagar MRT Station)
Admission: Free (tickets needed for entry)

We have been graciously invited by SP Japanese Cultural Club to join the event. 4 places are available, so book your place early! Members who are interested and able to commit their attendance to the event, please send your name, school, year of study, matric number, contact number to yuanfa.xu@tpjcg.org by Sunday, 27 June 2010.

SEAL points will be awarded for this event. As places are limited, please register only if you are certain you can come. Members will be noted down if they register but do not turn up for the event. No SEAL points will be awarded and attendance will be taken into account when registering for future JCG events.

Streetfest D’J Party 2010 Outing

Hi all!

The Singapore Street Festival is here once again! This is an annual event showcasing the different forms of performing and visual arts. D’J Party is an event in Streetfest, featuring J-rock performances and an area for cosplayers to mingle and have their photos taken.

Date: Sunday, 13 June 2010
Time: 1pm to 9.30 pm
Venue: Plaza Singapura
Admission: Free

We will be meeting up at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station , near the ticketing machines on Sunday, 13 June 2010 at 2pm to go for the event. If you’re interested in joining us for D’J Party, please send an email to chioutorng.wong@tpjcg.org with your name, contact number, admission number, school and year of study. Please note that you’ll have to meet up with us for SEAL points to be awarded.

Drawing Sessions (June)

Hi all,

Do you have an interest in drawing manga style? Well, come on down and join us for our drawing sessions, where members will be able to share tips and learn together. It will be a good chance for everyone to have fun, relax and learn!

Please take note of the change in venue from LT15 to IT 5-6-14.

Issho ni Gokon!

Hey everyone!

Are you aware of what goes on in a Gokon meeting? After the success we’ve had last year, we are organising another Gokon event to let everyone have an enjoyable afternoon. After the meal, we will have games to break the ice, and we’re planning an additional events after the games, so please do stay!
