Ichibantei Restaurant Outing

Hi all!

We’re having an outing for all members to get together and enjoy special, unique or just delicious Japanese cuisine. Members can also make new friends and catch up with one another.

This month, we’re having ramen – soupy noodles with toppings such as sliced pork (chashu), bamboo shoots and spring onions. Ichibantei is a chain of ramen restaurants in Japan that has expanded into Singapore for quite some time already, bringing with them authentic ramen that is wildly popular with Japanese expats.

For those of you who don’t like ramen, Ichibantei offers other types of Japanese cuisine too, including sushi and a glorious hamburger steak!

Date: Sunday, 24 July 2011
Time: 6pm to late
Venue: Ichibantei Robertson Quay (meeting at Clarke Quay MRT control station)
Budget: $20 maximum (for most main courses)

If you’re interested, please email comm@tpjcg.org (subject: Ichibantei Restaurant Outing) with your name, matric number and contact number by Friday, 22 July 2011. As restaurant outings are for members to make new friends, do ask your friends along, but we request that they sign up for the event themselves.

(Restaurant outings are also open to past members who’ve graduated from Temasek Polytechnic. Welcome back!)

See you there!
