We have received word today on an event that is taking place this Saturday at the Japanese Association of Singapore.
The JUGAS (Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore) will be organising an event of both fun and learning, formerly under the name of “Mana-Asobi”. Through quizzes, games and discussion conducted in Japanese, participants can together learn and appreciate the Japanese language and Japanese culture.
Recommended for people with JLPT Level 4 (lowest level) and above

Hi everyone, we’ve finalized a location and we’re posting again just in case any of you are still interested.
We’re gonna have a chalet to break away and have fun for 2 days, 2 nights of intense gaming, watchin movie/anime etc, not to mention food.
Here are the details:
Date: 27th to 28th October (We leave on the morning of 29th)
Venue: Aloha Loyang Garden Terrace Chalet
Cost:
Option A - Just to hang out and have BBQ = $10 OR
Option B - Hang out, BBQ and sleep over(both nights) = $20
*If we got any excess cash, we will just refund u wat’s left.*
Take note none of this is coming out from the fund as we’ve decided they can be used for other better things for the club and its members.
Those who are interested in attending, please have the decency to email to jcg_stuff@hotmail , ur name/contact before 26th October at 11am sharp, so we can prepare the right amount of food for people. Don’t be shy and do come to mingle around with the other members and/or the committee members.

yes, it’s that time of the year again. It’s time for you to renew your membership~! (or to join JCG if you’re new here).
The coming AGM will be held on the 28th of July. Details are as follows:
Event: JCG’s Annual General Meeting
Venue: Design’s LT24 (Right behind Jupiter cafe)
Date: 28th July 2004
Time: Registration begins at 1800.
Note: New members - $15 (take note JCG is an independant club)
Current members are to pay $5 should they wish to renew their membership status.
*Please bring your club t-shirt, or at least your receipt to identify your status*
Programs will be organized for your entertainment, where there are prizes to be won.
We will also be taking in new/current members who wish to be a part of the sub-committee. Apart from organizing events to earn more CCA points, you will also stand to get special bonuses.

Hi Everyone,
Gonna keep this brief.
Its time for the annual Japanese Sports Carnival again.
It will be held on the 18th of July at the JAS Sports Centre (we’ll meet up 1st). It’s a Sunday so most of you should be free. However, there are only 20 vacancies and you are encouraged to go, mainly because:
1) It is really fun
2) You’ll get CCA points
3) You’ll get some good prizes for taking part at the events.
