Hi all,

Here’s some drawing sessions to take you away from the exam stress! Anyone who is interested in drawing or hanging out with our artists is welcome. This is a relaxed get-together for artists of any level, giving everyone an excuse to come together, draw, share tips, make friends, chill out and have fun.

Day: Mondays (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March 2008)
Time: 6pm to 7.30pm
Venue: 5-6-13 (Applied Science)

Hi all,

One more month, more drawing sessions! Anyone who is interested in drawing in the style of Japanese animation is welcome. This is a relaxed get-together for artists of any level, giving anyone an opportunity to come together, draw, share tips, make friends, chill out and have fun.

Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie Screening

Hey everyone!

We’ll be screening Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie! Based on the well known anime series by CLAMP, the movie is a sequel to the anime. Basically, Sakura wins a trip to Hong Kong. Due to her unbelievably good luck, Kero asks whether Sakura was actually called to Hong Kong for a particular reason. As Sakura visits the local sites in Hong Kong, something strange happens to her. When two strange looking birds lead Sakura into a phantom world, she learns that she really was called to come to Hong Kong by a person who wants revenge on Clow Reed.

Date: Saturday, 26 January 2007
Time: 1pm to 3pm
Venue: LT7 (Information Technology)
Admission: Exclusively for members only (Please bring along your membership card!)

SEAL points will be awarded for attendance. Please send an email to johan@tpjcg.org with your full name, admission number, school and year of study if you’re planning to attend, and remember to present your membership card before the screening starts.

Here’s more drawing sessions for you to unwind after the term tests and find excuses to get together during the holidays! Anyone who is interested in drawing in the style of Japanese animation is welcome. This is a relaxed get-together for artists of any level, giving anyone an opportunity to come together, draw, share tips, make friends, chill out and have fun.

Day: Mondays (3rd, 17th December 2007)
Time: 6pm to 7pm
Venue: 5-6-13 (Applied Science)

Due to the coming term tests, there will be no drawing session on Monday, 10 December 2007. There will also be no drawing sessions on the 24th and 31st of December due to Christmas and New Year.
