Wagashi Day

Two of our sub-committees are having a joint event! Wagashi Day is our very own way of introducing the tradition of eating confectionary sweets (wagashi) while drinking tea!

Not only will you be able to enjoy tea with sweets, our Cuisine sub-committee will teach you how to make the sweets and explore your creativity! Then, enjoy a short cultural sharing by our Arts & Entertainment sub-committee about the history and culture of tea ceremonies, and how wagashi came about, while you sip your tea!
